Get paid for putting your feet up for a few days and contribute to medicines research! You'll be well looked after by our clinical trials team of friendly nurses, doctors and science graduates. During your stay you can use our computer games, DVD's, wide screen TV, digital channels and internet, and you'll get free meals. We'll pay for your time and inconvenience.

Who are we? and What do we do?

Hammersmith Medicines Research (HMR) is a private Company based in the Central Middlesex Hospital.

We're a group of highly trained and experienced people, including: doctors, nurses, clinical scientist and support staff.

We do studies of new medicines for the pharmaceutical industry.

Every medicine a doctor prescribes has had to pass through research and development lasting several years.

Almost all new medicines are studied first in healthy volunteers. We specialise in such studies.

Is it safe?

Medicines come from major pharmaceutical companies, and have been tested extensively in the laboratory.

Our doctors and nurses supervise every aspect of the trial.

All trials are approved by an independent ethics committee of medical, nursing and lay people.
